About a year ago I wrote a sad night I spent a Red Lion Hotel Sacramento, California. But I'm also impressed that cared enough to monitor their clients' experiences, and when I reported dissatisfaction in an online survey to answer, and tried to recover quickly. Part of the recovery of the free gift of stay for all Red Lion Hotel. This past weekend, I had that same gift certificate to Red Lion Hotel Sacramento that was the source of the original complaint.
This is a great hotel near a large shopping center. Although the hotel is older than most of the area, the facility is clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and sensitive. The only reason why I will probably never return to the hotel is one of the rooms have Internet service. They have free wireless in the lobby, but because I so much work to bother me too much online. The fine print on gift vouchers said that to call a number, provided that the reservation. I screwed that up by making your online reservation and did not catch the mistake until a few hours before it was supposed to check in on Saturday. But I was able to call this number on Saturday and the agent deleted the online booking and set me up, I had one of the best rooms at the hotel. This is amazing.
Probably will not return to the specific property of Red Lion Hotel, because the question of the Internet, but because I really care about the client Red Lion, I still consider them as an option when I travel. If you are unable to convince buyers of the original transaction, and they did a favor to let you know, make sure you impress them in the recovery. Nice one, Red Lion.
